ProShotsAI is operated by UpVision GmbH, Haldenstrasse 13, 2503 Biel, Switzerland ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have. It applies to all users of proshotsai.com.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data — email address, name, and authentication credentials you provide when registering.
• Payment data — billing information processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
• Photos and content — images you upload for AI model training and generation.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, clicks, session duration, and similar interaction data.
• Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL.
• Advertising data — conversion events and audience data collected by advertising platforms (Google, Meta) when you interact with our ads or visit our site. See Section 6.

We collect data in the following ways:

• Directly from you when you register, purchase, upload photos, or contact support.
• Automatically via cookies, pixels, and tracking technologies as you browse our site. See our Cookie Policy for details.
• From third-party platforms such as Google and Meta, when you click on one of our ads.

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including AI model training and image generation
• Process payments and send purchase confirmations
• Communicate with you about your account, orders, and support requests
• Improve and personalize the Service based on usage patterns
• Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
• Show you relevant advertisements on Google and Meta platforms based on your interaction with our site
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud

For users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract — processing necessary to provide the Service you purchased.
• Legitimate interests — analytics, fraud prevention, and improving our service.
• Consent — advertising cookies and pixels, where consent is required.
• Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law.

We use advertising tools from Google and Meta to measure ad performance and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.

Google Analytics & Google Ads
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, session duration, conversion events). We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which ad campaigns lead to purchases. Google may set cookies including _ga, _gid, _gcl_aw, and related cookies. Google processes this data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram Ads)
We use the Meta Pixel on our site to track conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads (e.g., when a visitor makes a purchase after clicking an ad). The Pixel also allows us to create Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences for advertising. Meta may set cookies including _fbp and _fbc. Meta processes this data in accordance with its Data Policy.

You can opt out of advertising cookies at any time through your browser settings or via the links in our Cookie Policy. You may also use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (Supabase, Vercel, Replicate, Stripe, Resend). See our Sub-Processors page for the full list.
• Advertising platforms (Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc.) for campaign measurement and retargeting, as described in Section 6.
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.

Our service providers are primarily based in the United States. When we transfer personal data outside Switzerland or the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an adequacy decision.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Uploaded training photos are deleted from our AI processing pipeline after your model is generated. Account data is retained until you request deletion or we close your account.

Advertising event data (via Google and Meta) is retained per those platforms' own policies.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure data storage via Supabase. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction — request that we fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g., advertising cookies), you may withdraw at any time.

Our Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
